I currently own 2 FAL folders. Both are 16" barrel. Both have DSA railed top (Para) covers. The first has a full length gas system and shortened Stg barrel. Standard para sights, shoots and functions great since the day I built it, no complaints. Weight, 10lbs even un-loaded, no mag with sling & irons..I bought matching kit number 228,200 from FAC for $99 back in the day but the bore was heavily pitted after the gas block, like alot of the SA barrels, so I sold it and replaced it was a much nicer shooting barrel. #14. The older Federal Top Guns have a wound paper base wad in the bottom and have less volume in the hull than the newer hulls with the plastic basewad. The claim they are good for buckshot and slugs.
