I just had an issue with DD and had a conversation with a customer service agent thru the app. Then I got a call from a weird number and googled it. I guess the scammer is still trying it. I just got called by the scammer. Telling me my tablet is malfunctioning and they are sending me a new tablet. I stopped answering the phone after the scams. I figured if DoorDash wants my attention it better be in app. DoorDash outsourcing hurts the drivers because the communication is the issue often. TL;DR: It's possibly legit, but you're better off calling DoorDash just in case.
